This piece maps the process of translating the body from cerebral concept to physical form, using cloth as the means. The first print is a list of all the dimensions of my body, starting with hair length and ending in foot length.  Using the 11 numbers on the list I created a bitmap weave-structure in Photoshop and then used a Compu Dobby AVL loom to weave yardage of cloth. I used that cloth to make a functional garment that I wore and then discarded in a performative act. I documented my body and the cloth in empathetic relationship, each in a pile on the floor, as a means of demonstrating the interdependency of the human form and the garments that we use to define it and protect it.
